2004 Fender MIJ Capri Orange Precision Bass
SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM
All of our guitars come with a FREE professional setup to a comfortable action as specified by that instrument’s manufacturer. Our setups always include inspection of (and necessary adjustment to): action, intonation, tremolo angle, truss rod, frets, nut, bridge, and more. We can accommodate special setup requests - additional charges and/or shipping delays of 1-2 business days could occur.
INDIVIDUALLY PHOTOGRAPHED
After 15 years of innovation in our photography process, Ish Guitars has developed a way to get you the most accurate true-to-life color of every instrument we sell. We never embellish, oversaturate, or misrepresent our images, so that your buying experience can be as much like visiting our showroom as possible. Keep in mind that various computer screens can show colors a bit differently, so the color on your screen may not match the real thing perfectly no matter how hard we try. Also, unless otherwise noted, we individually list and photo every piece of gear that comes through our doors.

SPECS
Weight: 8.8 lbs
Case: Gig Bag
Year: 2004-2005
Condition: Excellent
Tech Notes: Guitar, Hardware and Electronics were cleaned/tested and functioning appropriately. Fretboard cleaned and frets polished. Consistent playability throughout the entire neck with no evident fret wear. Missing pickup cover. Neck marking appropriately dates to the year of the bass. With Japan made basses for the era there is a wide range of difference with neck pocket markings. This one has no clear/evident markings, however this isn't uncommon for the era of the bass. Super unique color and a great players bass.
Mods or Repairs: When we received the bass there were some minor neck angle issues and a light ramp at the end of the neck. A small shim was added and some leveling was done from frets 12+ to fix the issue. With this in mind you will notice the saddles on the bass are lower than normal. This doesn't have an impact on the playability of the instrument, but can't go much lower on the E/G strings. Currently setup with minimal neck relief and a comfortable medium/low standard Fender spec setup. (6/64" - 5/64" at the 12th fret, E to G)
Neck Profile: C Standard
Neck Thickness: 1st: 0.84" / 12th: 0.95"
Fingerboard Radius: 7.25"
Nut Width: 1.6"
Scale Length: 34"
Electronics Layout: 1 x Volume, 1 x Tone
Pickups: Original MIJ Fender PB Split Single Coil Pickups (10.95k)
String Gauge: 45 - 100
String Spacing: 19mm
Tools Included: None
Please note: All measurements are taken in-house. While we strive for accuracy, slight variations may occur compared to manufacturer specifications due to the nature of hand-measuring.
