SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR LUTHIER

Tech Notes:  Great player with medium low action and minimal relief. The nut is cut a little low and when digging in on open strings the D string especially gives a little bit of rattle.  The tuners were replaced at some point with Schaller tuners and the original tuners aren't in the case. The guitar is setup with 10-46 D'Addario XL strings.  The electronics appear all original with no modifications.  There is some hardware that was replaced including the bridge, tail piece, studs, and output jack cover. Those original parts are in the case. The finish has changed into a yellow, which is typical of this finish.  Blacklighting this instrument showed no structural repairs or finish work performed, with the exception of the nut appears to have been replaced and lightly touched up (see pics).  The frets are original and show very little wear, and the board shows no wear.  That being said the frets are very low but this is normal for this era Gibson.  See photos for pics of the backs of the pickups and electronics cavity. The pickup and potentiometers along with the serial number indicate that it is indeed a 1977.

Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition. Many dings and scratching present all over the instrument.  Ding on the fretboard. Small chip on the neck near fretboard. Holes viable from prior tuning machine replacement.
