1301 4023 - Number on bottom of neck - dates to 1972 - however code indicates the fretboard is rosewood, and the typeface of the 'Custom' on the headstock wasnt put into use until 1973.

Plate dates body to 1974.

SETUP & INSPECTED BY OUR TECH TEAM

Weight: 8.3lbs

Case Details: Original Hardshell Case (Slightly tight fit, but works without issue)

Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition with a good amount of playwear, dings, and scratches.  Please look through our listing photos for a detailed look at this guitar's cosmetic condition.

Tech Notes: Guitar, Hardware, and Electronics were cleaned/tested and are functioning appropriately. Setup with minimal neck relief and medium/low action. Fretboard cleaned and frets polished. There is moderate fret wear evident most prominently between frets 1 - 6. This has minimal impact on the playability of the guitar outside of light string buzz on the G string 2nd fret. Being it is an original 70's fender neck we didn't want to pull/replace this fret. Plays great throughout the entire neck with consistent playability/intonation. Certainly was a players guitar in the past with the evident use/wear and will continue to provide a great playing experience for years to come!

Mods or Repairs: Original bridge was removed and in it's place the owner installed a Fender Bigsby B5 Tremolo. You'll notice the original pick guard was trimmed to fit this. Missing original string Ferrules. Was refinished to the current white color (previously darker green). Neck pickup is original to the guitar, however the bridge pickup was replaced (019XT marking and appears to be a Fender American Telecaster Pickup).

No evident markings on the body neck joint. See attached pictures for neck markings ( 1301 4023 - J Torres).

We added a shim to fix the neck angle of the guitar.
